This festival is going to be so out of sight its ridiculous. I live in the Oxford Hills and we need some commotion up here. Nothing like a 4 day festival to stir things up. I am 10 minutes from the Oxford fairgrounds and that place should be packed. Can't wait to see the 2 of the original Dead! So crazy

Call me Rosco,I'm from MA.I'm soooo excited to have a PREMIER fest in Northern New England,it's been a long time coming!I loved Roo and Rothbury but I think the smaller crowd will be much more personal and add an intimate feel to what is sure to be a weekend of great fun,great music and greater people in the great state of Maine!Can't wait!Remember people,"Trash in a bag,trash in a bag,put ya put ya put ya put ya trash in a bag!" Hey guys, good to see the good vibes all around. This is my first festie, and really my first time camping - hoping for the best and it looks like this community is gonna deliver that :-D
sidenote: Rooster I'm almost proof-positive doing this festie alone but I wouldn't miss it for the world, the jams up in Maine are shaping out to be fantastic.

Just joined the board and thought I would stop by and intruduce myself before I posted to the other threads.
This is not my first fest been doing it since woodstock '99 and know that this won't be my last.
My buddies and I were at Up North and are glad to see northern New England get a major fest like this.

Greetings Nateva! After a month of logging in as a guest I figured this was the next step in trying to make July 4th weekend come a little sooner. This festival is nearly in my back yard (within 30 minutes) ,and if you are traveling from away you will be surrounded by some great locals in a great location.

new poster at this new fest, I'm currently a Mass hole, but I've been a dead head from the big apple since my first Fillmore (East) show in 1969. Long Strange Trip indeed. Total Starhead these days (DSO fan to the unintiated) -- maybe Nateva will bring them on the bus for next year. I've been loving the vibes at the GOTV for 6 years, but this new fest looks superb -- clearly a deadhead at the helm! Hopefully the maine woods will be cooler than the bridgeport waterfront! See y'all on the site. ;D

Hey all! Excited for Nateva this summer! Especially since it will be just a couple days after my 21st Birthday so I will be 21 and it will be the best birthday present ever, my boyfriend will be celebrating his 25th birthday at the festival! Maybe we'll run around in our birthday suits!! Haha. I'm very excited, the line up is insane, it will definitly be a great time. For all of you new festival goers who this will be your first festival ever.. I have no doubt that you won't be exstatic and satisified with this festival. Can't wait to chat more with ya'll! ;D

Gonne be an awesome first festy to catch, theres nothing like that first festival experience and its gonna be hard to find anything in the northeast that can touch it Here Here!! Look forward to meeting you there. First festies are fun, can be total sensory overload. Relax and enjoy the ride. I went to my first festival a couple summers ago, and I remmeber first getting there and just walking around and everytrhing was just going so fast and I was so overwhelmed it was crazy! You are going to have such a good time, it is one of the best experiences someone can have. You are not going to know what to do with yourself in such a crazy environment. But in a good way. |

You know, your probably right! :] Probably are right? He is right.... everyone is your friend... like he said.. you just havn't met them yet. That's the best thing about festivals... everyone well... mostly everyone.. just has so much love for each other. ;D |
