I cant find any information about a previous year or what not. Is this the first year for this festival?

Yes it is. This is the first year it's being put on. Hopefully it's pretty great and continues. We'll see.

First year festivals are the best, before they sell their soul to the devil (I'm looking at you Bonnaroo), and while they are still trying to dazzle everyone and pull out all the stops so that people will come back for a second, third etc...
Rothbury 08 was a perfect example of how a first year will just blow you away.
I'm counting the minutes til Nateva....
Finally an awesome festie in the Northeast, so I don't have to drive 15+ hours....
I am pumped.

The first year aspect of Nateva was a big selling point for me. There's just something about doing something for the first time, before the secrets have been let out and before anyone can build it up too much or tear it down.

Rothbury '08 was my first festival and it changed my life. '09 was pretty fun, just not the same. I hope Nateva brings it's A game and blows my mind into pieces.

The whole first year festival thing is definitely a big draw for me. We are the "pioneers of Nateva" lol.
If all goes well, ten years down the road it will be cool saying I was at the First ever Nateva and have been to each one since...
