Jam On on Sirius Satellite Radio. Love my Sirius! I too love my Sirius, but with such a large catalog to choose from, they play the same stuff over and over and over and over and over......... the IPOD is kickin' out String Cheese @ the Allgood Festival, Wilmers Park, 5/21/99. One of my tastiest recordings if I do say so myself.

One of my tastiest recordings if I do say so myself. I completely agree. I've sent more than one email about that subject. I've never heard anything off of Keller's new album, all they play off of Kyle Hollingsworth's album is "Way that it goes," nothing from SCI's recent huge box set, etc... So many of these bands release multiple live sets, there needs to be more variety there. On the other hand, Jam On is a major reason I got into Keller, UM, SCI, Franti, etc... so I can't complain too much. There needs to be a happy medium of playing songs often enough for people to get familiar with them and not repeating yourself.

Rush R30 - Crazy Niel Pert Drum Solo I just read that Rush is going to play Moving Pictures complete on their summer tour. Great album, but I'd rather they play Hemispheres or Permenant Waves.

All this talk about Pretty Lights got me curious, so I went to the website and am taking a listen. Good stuff. He puts on a really fun show... the music he uses may not always be the best, but you usually can't help but know most of it because it's what gets played on the radio everywhere. There are some awesome videos on YouTube of people on stage with him at Rothbury last year. Plus, since that weekend was almost right after MJ died, he mixed in several of his songs that really got people going crazy.

I think my daughter would like him too. What am I listening to today? The music in my head. ;D

You and me both. Jeff Coffin is an insane sax player, but it's definitely a different sound...
