ITM, why did I get the feeling that you'd be pumped about a Felice Brothers late night set? I am too. This schedule is pretty awesome and Friday is going to be a lot o' fun.

I'm really excited.....and not just for myself. I figure most people will see their earlier set because they'll be hanging out after Umphrey's plays.....but the late night ensures that they'll get a lot more people seeing them that may have skipped them during the day for whatever reason. I'm also really interested to see what they do. They don't really have any elaborate light show and generally haven't gotten late night festival sets......but I guarantee they will bring tons of energy and get lots of people to have a great time.

Alittle bummed about Umphrey's getting a daytime spot, but all in all very good lineup with little conflicts. Just over a month. Can I get a Hells Yes?

Some thoughts about the official schedule:
- The Jackie Greene vs Heavy Pets conflict is a bit tough. I don't know which way that one will go, but right now it's leaning towards Jackie.
- Glad Roots of Creation isn't up against anyone that was a must-see for me.
- The Saturday latenight is going to be a wanderfest. I want to see all four of those acts so I will spend some time wandering around, which I like to do for latenights anyway.
- Zappa Plays Zappa vs The Constellations could be a tough pick. I'm not a Zappa fan by any means so I might go with the Constellations to see what they're all about.

Nice. Good to see that even though Umphreys gets a daytime slot, they still get a solid 80 minutes to rock. Not much else to say, schedule looks good. Looking forward to Giant Panda>Toubab latenight!

Ditto what mojo and elk said. EOTO/Toubab is tough with the sets being so short (not that I'm complaining, really, I understand the late nights thing). I'm a wee bit upset with Constellations/ZPZ but overall I'm pleased as punch with this schedule... My biggest problem will likely be trying not to get too tuckered out! 34 days! ;D

Both Saturday night times are conflicts to me. Giant Panda is a band I've been interested in since they were announced way back near the beginning, but I've been listening to some Kind Buds on youtube and I really like their stuff.
Then EOTO is a guaranteed danceathon, which is always nice on a Saturday night, but Toubab has such a fantastic sound.
I have no intentions whatsoever of picking. I expect to just wander around all night on Saturday. That is, afterall, what the Saturday night of a festival is for. I'm currently thinking it'll go:
12:30-1:00 - Kind Buds. Gotta start with them because they'll have the mellowest sound, and it's really hard to go from loud, dancing stuff to mellow late at night.
1:00-1:30 - Giant Panda. This will put me at Camp Stage for when EOTO goes on
1:45-2:15 - EOTO. I've found that good electronica dancing music is best when you're there from the beginning, feeling it build and florish from the get go.
2:15-2:45 - Toubab Krewe. Some nice "Earthy" sounds to bring the night to an end. Might help me get back to "sit around camp" mode instead of "rage all night" mode.
There is a big risk with this plan of missing Toubab if EOTO has me getting down too much. But if that happens it means EOTO was kicking my ass and I've never complained about missing a band because someone else was too damn good.
Of course I'm also experienced enough to know that schedules at festivals never get followed as expected.

EOTO/Toubab definitely is a big conflict.....i'm sure it will be one of the bigger ones for most people.....but it makes sense to split that slot between two awesome yet different sounding bands. I think i'll be catching Toubab at that time but i'm not 100% sure yet.
SO PUMPED about late night Felice Brothers. I didn't think my Friday could have gotten any better after moe. but now it's amazing.

SO PUMPED about late night Felice Brothers. I didn't think my Friday could have gotten any better after moe. but now it's amazing. I'm happy about that also. I knew I wouldn't be doing their mid-day slot because I simply don't plan on sitting at the stages all day long. I value that time back at camp relaxing and downing a few too much. So now I can get a little Felice thrown in which is nice.

Yea that's what I figured many people would be doing so the Late Night slot is something that will help give the band even more exposure. Really happy to see my favorite band playing twice. Won't be a show to miss.

I've seen Toubab twice and really enjoyed them, so I'm leaning towards checking out EOTO. Of course, I know I really enjoy Toubab, so if I check out the beginning of EOTO and they're not doing it for me I know I can head over there. It makes sense, but it's still unfortunate. Still, great schedule.

This schedule is beyond deadly. I was not expecting the late nights to be so diverse or numerous. The EOTO/Toubab is unfortunate, but hey, that's part of going to a festival. We'll see where the night takes me on that one. The Furthur set is going to be EPIC. Cannot wait for July! Can someone just cryogenically freeze me and thaw me on wednesday night?

I think the sunset STS9 set is going to be one of the can't miss shows of the weekend. Umphreys is better as a latenight, but as said many times, mid-afternoon Umphreys beats the hell out of no Umphreys at all.

I think it was also nice of the Nateva people to give Umph a bit of a longer set then other daytime acts. If you check the schedule bands before and after them on the main stage only get an hour while they were given an hour and 20 minutes. I think Nateva knew they were such a desired band and wanted to try and do something more to make the UM fans happy.

I watched some of the UM set from SummerCamp over the weekend and their sets were damn good. It doesn't have to be dark out to appreciate a band as good as they are.

Looks like a nice schedule for sure. Don't miss GPGDS late night. Those guys are very welcome to a late night schedule that I expected to be trance dominated. I'm gonna go ahead and express serious disapointment that Lettuce has been confined to a short set on thursday. Definitly thought they'd take a late night spot on a busier evening and never dreamed that they'd be opening for Lotus. I mean absolutely no disrespect to Lotus but their show doesn't even hold a candle to an on point Lettuce ensemble. Also still missing the funk element a bit. Nateva might have gotten two other fresh up and coming funk bands for the price of a worn out George Clinton. Anyway, still looking forward to a great weekend of tunes all and all.
