Someone else found his info and got in contact with him. He's also posted on the Nateva facebook page a lot. If you feel it's some big conspiracy then do some digging. |

Frank and some other businessmen from the area put together the idea and money, all guys that did very well for themselves.They saw that there was a gap in the large scale Jam Festival scene in Northern New England and decided they wanted to put something together to fill that void. As with pretty much any other new business venture they have support from many investors, but as far as I can tell the majority of it is from their own personal work. Frank is an AWESOME guy, has been nothing but friendly with everyone and more open about his business operations than anyone I know. I really have NO idea why people seem to think there is some conspiracy with Live Nation. They are NOT funded by Live Nation, give it up.
Visitor I am not sure why exactly you feel entitled to know where all the funding for this festival is coming from. There has been nothing to support these stupid Live Nation rumors and for the love of god its not THAT big of a deal either way. From what I have seen from Official Nateva staff has been nothing but friendly, open and forward communications with their potential customers, and people like you who have waving your finger at them and questioning them for silly stuff like this.

Na Nateva is not backed by Live Nation. Nateva LLC is putting this festival on.. Frank and Friends. Why waste your time on a forum making statements with nothing to back it up. If your not going to the festival, not in favor of it, and have nothing good to say then just sit it out and find another forum. Right?

Hippies sometimes. every person not buying a ticket to the latest popular show because they hate livenation has 2 people in line behind them trying to buy that ticket. better to just embrace it me - im a vipnation member - hell, i even have livenation stock. poorly performing livenation stock... grrrr... you know, at the end of the day, livenation isnt really the devil. what could they do to improve their image? not trolling, just curious. (okay, i have one example - reduce the fees) |

Here is what I know. (and I know very little.) Nateva is not BACKED by Live Nation. Go forth and know that this fest is run by good folk. Live Nation, though, has an interest in Oxford, Maine. click here to view a town of oxford's meeting minutesBoard of Selectmen's minutes 8/20/09 8C " C. Economic Development Advisory Committee- Tom Kennison was absent but Steve Wallace of the Chamber of Commerce offered to fill in. Basically they are looking for the support of the selectmen on a project that would help bring a state of the art sound stage to the Fairgrounds. Live Nation is a national promotion firm involved with this. Right now they are not asking for money, just support. TM recommended a public hearing for input before financial support was given. Roger Jackson made a motion which was seconded by Jay Goforth to support moving forward on this project." Full disclosure and all. What does this mean? Who knows.
