My girlfriend and I had plans to go to Nateva this year. Bought our tickets and started planning.
A week ago I found out she was cheating on me and she wanted to leave me and now i'm heartbroken and alone. But i'm still going. Hopefully will have her ticket for a friend but we'll see what happens there.
Point is......go anyway......if you can.

If you're camping with Camp Infoteva, you're not camping alone! Seriously, I went "by myself" last year to Rothbury, but I had a great time with the Infoburies. Don't miss out just because you're "going alone." It actually gives you a lot of freedom, and you'll always have people to hang out with!

I've shown up at plenty of festivals alone (as I will at this one), but always ended up with "new" friends and had a blast. Don't worry about being alone, you'll only be that way if you want to.

So unfortunately we won't be able to have a separate "Camp Infoteva" camp set aside for the board. We will be able to do a "Camp Infoteva" group that all arrives together. We'll be able to get advice from the official Nateva group regarding where to meet up, when to arrive, and the best way to go about making sure our group stays together. We'll also have the Camp Infoteva BBQ that everyone with a camping pass will be invited to. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up as to what's going on, and I hope you're all looking forward to Camp Infoteva!

Whats up itrainmonkeys, you read my mind. I was just about to make a post saying that we should all meet up for the camp infoteva somewhere well known and close by the fairgrounds before we enter. I knew most likely that the organizers would have a tough time setting aside a spot on the grounds just for us. It would cause confusion with the constant flow of traffic and whatnot. If we all show up together in line with our cars, we should be all set. I think we should eventually Pick a spot (hotel, grocery store parking lot, ect..) to meet up for the arrivals on Thursday and then another set time for the people who will arrive on Friday. Meet up times and all that we can figure out closer to June and July.

hahahahaha I can't believe this! my buddy got me with an april fools joke!!! we're still goin! He got his boss to write him an email saying that he couldn't get the time off and he forwarded that to me. can you blame me for falling for that??

Great meeting spot would be the Oxford plans Speedway (big parking lot this maybe the alternative camping I can only assume) 2 miles before venue or the Walmart one mile before venue....I think traffic will be a sh#t show headed north so plan on getting in line early  Any other local questions let me know....Cheers |

It is only a half mile or so away from what will be the festival entrance. Wal-mart also has a license to allow campers in their parking lot. This particular Wal-mart is well aware of the festival and has no problem with campers being there. |

If we meet at the speedway the caravan can go the back way to the venue and try to avoid the traffic sh&! show...which I think it will be a sh&! show on route 26...imo

Ok, time to get planning! Here's my thinking on Camp Infoteva:
1) We should plan to leave together from a nearby Wal-Mart (or other such location). I think we should plan on leaving at noon. That way we can camp pretty much together
2) I would like to have some sort of camp cookout on Saturday morning/early afternoon. I think it would be a great way to get people together.
3) I think we should get a phone list together.
Ok, anyways, those are some initial thoughts. Would someone like to help organize some of those things or come up with other ideas? That'd be awesome! 14 days!

I probably wont be getting there until 5 or 6 on thursday, so meeting up at noon is out of the picture for me  , but I could PM you my phone digits, if you're trying to get a list going mojo and we could definitely hook up as a group for a cookout at some point. |

Does someone want to organize the phone list? I won't get into details yet (you'll hear about them at Nateva if you ask) but life is going to get uber hectic for me right now, plus I have DMB the next two weekends and crazy amounts of work at my job, plus I have to write my Bonnaroo review. Anyways, can someone volunteer to organize a phone list, and someone else find a potential meet up place for Thursday?

Still not 100% on if i'll be able to camp here....it's up in the air until I know more about the people i'm going with. But even if I'm not camping there I intend to stop by and hang out for a while. Definitely for the cookout (if there is one) but either way I'll be by here to meet up with people.

i just got informed that it'd be alright to work shifts , i dunno where ill be camped at though, i'de love to camp with all you guys cause chances are im going by myself. the map says staff+security camp together, last thing i want is to be all alone next to some undercover cops or some crap lol. if i am camped alone ill visit you guys for a cookout er somethin' =)
