Who else is pumped for this?! I know this is pretty much exactly what I would want from STS9 at a fest if latenight isnt an option.
Any of you super Secton 9 fans wanna venture an educated guess at what they will play for a setlist?

Really looking forward to this. My first real time seeing them. I caught them at Bonnaroo a few years ago for a short time but didn't stick around long. Not because they were bad.....I just had other things to experience.
Can't wait. Perfect timeslot too. Right before Flaming Lips as the sun sets.

Can't wait to see these guys again... saw them for just a bit at Rothbury last year, but I think we ended up wandering over to Pretty Lights.
Sunset set will be awesome and will be a nice intro to the late night festivities.

No twilight huh? Thats a pretty ballin set list tho.. still hunting for a glogli. I would love for a nice 2 hour plus show but I would say its much more likely for them to play until around 10. I think its unlikely for the headliner (flips) to go on much later than 10.

I am really looking forward to this! I've never seen them before. STS9 only seems to come around the east coast on like, Monday and wednesday nights, and once I declined seeing a show because of the venue. But...on a field, out in the woods, at sunset. The crowd abuzz. Yeah.

Stop the sunset propaganda. We'd all rather see STS9 play a dirty sunrise set and you know that. Make em stay up late to earn their paycheck...
unless u get pretty lights up in nat

Sun-set set and a Sunrise set -- obviously the only way to start and end a day correctly at a festy

I think its unlikely for the headliner (flips) to go on much later than 10. haha well twilight is a likely candidate i suppose, but ive also just come to expect the unexpected with this band. glogli would be really nice right after the sun has set, make things a lil creepy, then maybe a really wut to get the partystarted. i think its absolutely essential for sts9 to play for more than an hour and a half. there is plenty of time, what with a total of like 10 bands over the course of four days. no neeed to cram them into 8:30 - 10 before the flaming lips. how about an acoustic late night?

acoustic = i'll pass
i'm down for the dirty darkness. i'm just trying to be tough. just really happy they got added. def a reason why i'm going.
anymore bands gonna be added? all this schedule talk nonsense? or is there a tentative schedule circulating around under the radar?

I agree this STS9 set will be one to remember. Responding to Peppas: there's at least 20+ more bands to be announced. If i can remember right ..Frank said 40+ bands total. Either way this festival is and will be stacked in my opinion. Plenty of quality music to go around.

Anyone?? i think he's on to something here, and i like it! I'd say the best way to organize something for Frank (who I've never met and have no idea what he's like) would be to, you know, start a thread somewhere other than the STS9 thread. And come up with ideas. And wait for the official Nateva folks to start hanging out on the board (I'm workin' on that one). And we'll see what happens from there. But I'll second that motion!

I think a sunset set is going to be amazing. Never seen STS9 live, Simply can't wait! I saw part of their Rothbury set last year, but by the time 2:00 a.m. rolls around, I'm pretty beat. I'll be glad to be able to catch the whole set this year!

I'll be glad to be able to catch the whole set this year! You mean this lovely Chaos ^? Honestly this circus opener was one of the most spiritual moments I have ever experienced at a festival. Absolutely the most up-lifting way to start their set, just what I needed at that moment. If you have never seen this video, watch the crowd explode at 1:59, beautiful stuff. Im in that mess somewhere I know some hardcore tribers say their first show wasnt the greatest.. in my opinion it was wonderful and if they drop anything even close to that at Nateva then we are in for a special treat. Its been a long time since STS9 has hit Maine

id be down to hear "by the morning sun" at sunrise equally as much... but no doubt, an STS9 sunset set will be sick

I'm big into the nine, the twilight set has potential to be great. Seems that they thrive on doing stuff like this, I'd love to see a nod to the old sts9 flavor.. Thinking a Jebez or a more appropriate Twilight as the summer sun is setting over the hills of Maine sounds alright to me. Other than that I wouldn't mind these: We'll Meet in Our Dreams, ...and some are angels, Equinox, What is Love?.. I could go on and on, you get my drift. Looking forward to this event!
