I had heard Max Creek before, but only on Jam_On and things like that. Well last night I had to make the 5 hour drive to my in-laws for the holiday weekend so I downloaded some music, including a Max Creek show. All I can say is WOW! I was completely entranced in their show. They have vaulted from being around my #10 band I am looking forward to up to about the #5-6 spot. Can't wait!

I've only seen Max Creek 3 times, each one a little different. Really looking forward to seeing them again. It's been about 10 years, they don't get 'round the D.C. area much.

Really enjoyed them at GOTV last year. I am a big, big fan of Scott Murawski.

While I do agree Scott is a great guitar player, being from right outside R.I. I have seen this band far too many times. They play in Providence pretty much every month. When I was much younger, friends and I would go every time, now I can't get myself to stomach it. It's just my opinion though, they are talented. I just can only hear Blood Red Roses so many times.

I've never seen Max Creek play so am looking very forward to their set. I have a bunch of their shows that I've listened to and I really like them. Wonder when they'll play...

They are listed to play on Sunday, no time slot as of yet though. Sunday is shaping up to be a really great classic style jam band day - Furthur, ZPZ, Moonalice, Max Creek, Jemimah Puddleduck, Derek and Susan. Sunday has some fantastic opportunities for sit-ins and such.

I like the Sunday acts but I wonder if it will be too much of the same sound. ZPZ is the one band listed there that I'd say has a sound that's not similar to the others.
