Pretty lights would be pretty dope, I actually grew up with their lights guy. As for other late night sets, Karl Denson killed it last year at Mt. Jam, as did Eric Krasno's Chapter 2. Also, even though I know this is utterly absurd and impossible, I've always wanted to see Jamiroquai, and they would be awesome late night. Totally agree I had such a great time during KDTU and Krasno. The lady and I hiked a good way up the mountain to enjoy the show

Don't know much about pretty lights.....been reading up on him/them and downloaded two tracks off his website from his New Year's show.....pretty sweet so far. Would be a great late night.

Wayne Coyne talking about their set at Roo 2010:
"As of yesterday, we're gonna do it at Bonnaroo at the midnight slot, the first night" he said. "We do a Flaming Lips set then starting about 2:30 we do this 'Dark Side of the Moon' thing. "
This happening at Nateva would make me happier than anything. I also hear great things about Girl Talk, but he doesn't seem to be on any other festival line up this year.

If Girl Talk happened to be at Nateva he wouldn't be doing a late night. They stated that an act like that is a little too big/loud for the late nights at the festival. I don't think he will be there.
As for the Flaming Lips......i'm assuming we'll get a few songs from Dark Side but not the full on performance that they'll do at Roo (and did on New Year's). We'll see.....but I doubt it.

I doubt the lips will do any Dark Side. They are only performing that material as The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs. However, if they decide to spice it up with some Floyd, I'll be as pumped as you are.

I thought I read something a while back that said Stardeath and White Dwarfs were going to be on the whole tour with the Flips but it may have been a mistake or something. Either way.....i'm looking forward to the show.

Not gonna lie, Nateva will not be missing anything by not having Girl Talk. Didn't really dig his whole scene last year at Mt. Jam late night. There are much more original and fun DJs to be had.

Yea, I didnt even bother to go see him, nor did I see him at Roth. His stuff on youtube is enough to make me not interested in going to see him. He literally pre-mixes some top-40 BS with a little bump and for his show he just pushes play and spends the rest of the time yellin into the mic and fist pumping... lame

EOTO, Big Gigantic, and of course PRETTY LIGHTS. Any of which would honestly make late nights at Nateva Unforgettable.

I stumbled upon Girl Talk at Rothbury last year and enjoyed it for about 3 minutes. Nothing against his show or the people that like it, but listening to a souped up version of Vogue ain't my thing.

Girl Talk is okay in certain environs. I can't imagine really being into it at a festival. Last summer, he played a smaller outdoor show here in Brooklyn though, right on the waterfront, it was a serious rager.

i agree. i think the mood, enviornment and individual preference take part. i saw girl talk at roo in 07 and had a blast. we heard some kelly clarkson and had to see what was going on. but when i saw him at roth last year i couldn't get into it at all!

Kind of assumed STS9 would play one of the latenight sets. Nateva has said they wouldn't be having any huge name late night acts. STS9 was one of the few bands they stated specifically wouldn't be getting a late night (something about possible sound issues and stuff). Also, I think they've been confirmed as a pre-headliner to Flaming Lips. They are supposed to be having a "sunset set". Should still be awesome.

On the website it looks like the late night schedule is coming soon. Any thoughts on who might be included in that schedule?

Most likely some stuff going on in the acoustic barn and possibly some down-tempo/chill/djs in different sreas

I was thinking maybe Roots of Creation and The Indobox could be included along with EOTO and Big Gigantic. I expect the late nights in the barn will go from about 12-3 and those are long sets for just EOTO and BG to play.

I have been trying to talk some of the higher up Nateva folks into letting RoC do a latenight set as well. Brett Wilson from RoC is good friends with Sam Kinninger and he was tossing around the idea of having him sit in when we last spoke.

The more acts that can get a late night, the better. Also kinda interested in the movies and whatever other late night activities they have going on.

Sick. RoC would KILL IT late night. Dexxy I second your proposal. RoC is great no matter what time of day, but ideally it would be a late night set so they can really jam when everyone is in rare form.
Hopefully I'll be checking them out in Allston @ Harpers Ferry with Bearquarium next Sat, really looking forward to it.
