Officially: Rustic Overtones, Jakob Dylan and Three Legs feathuring Neko Case and Kelly Hogan, Jemimah Puddleduck and the Indobox (both as reported already).
20+ more bands on the 27th, latenight looks to be shaping up reallll nice as well. Some quality alt rock and indie as well

I like the alt/indi route. Should hopefully give this fest a different vibe from ALL the others. So many fests these days seem to be sharing ALOT of the same tallent, almost like a big festival tour with different names in each city. Would love to see more acts like these like say...Todd Snider, Daddy, Steve Earle. Can't wait to see the next additions.

If Nateva got Todd Snider i'd cry. That'd be so amazing. Caught him at Bonnaroo last year and have been dying to see him again ever since.

I knew about Mark karan a few weeks ago, but Jakob Dylan comes as a surprise though. Thats legit though, both of them are really nice additions ;D

Karan and Indobox both have the festival listed on their tour dates. Others supposedly "unofficially" confirmed by the artists themselves. Don't know where Jakob Dylan got confirmed but I think Rustic Overtones told a fan they'd be playing. Dexxy hasn't steered me in the wrong direction yet though....so I'd trust him.

I was just snooping around on Jambase, and discovered that a band called the Kind Buds is listed as playing on Saturday at Nateva. Any credence to this? Jambase was also missing several bands from the line up, so i wasn't sure how accurate it was.

Oddly I am not dying for the final lineup. In the past I have been foaming at the mouth for lineup additions for festivals I am attending, but this year I am content. I guess I just really like what we have so far.
My goal for a festival is to see at least 3-4 bands I really want to see each day. I will see more than that, but 3-4 to look forward to is my goal (Thurs. only needs 1-2 since it's a shorter stage day). So far, based on what is assumed are the dates, it's looking good.
Thurs - Lotus
Fri - Keller, Greensky, Umphreys, moe.
Sat - STS9, Lips, Giant Panda
Sun - Furthur, Trucks/Tedeschi, Max Creek,

The Felice Brothers are one of those bands I intend to be at. But not knowing anything about them except the bit of hype I've seen here, I can't really say they're a band I'm dying to see. Definitely hoping their a band I will be dying to see again after Nateva though.

They should definitely put on a great show. They've got a ton of great material and if they have over an hour to play then it should be worthwhile. They'll get the crowd's energy going.

Nateva Maine: We're going to be announcing some MONSTER alternative/indie bands next week. I mean HUGE. They are going to Rock the House. Hold on to your hats, we're not done with the Jam Bands yet either. Just 5 more days. Have we ever disappointed you before? We don't want to just be Northern New England's Premiere Jam Band Festival. We want to be Northern New England's Premiere Music and Camping Festival, period. Stay tuned.  They say just 5 more days, i feel better calling it 4 more days until the day, lol! |

I live in Bangor Maine and there were rumors of Eoto coming to Bangor to preform on May 8th or 9th so I emailed them to see if it was true, I also asked what the possibility of them playing at nateva is. They informed me that they will be performing in Bangor and they will also be performing at Nateva on the 3rd. Can't wait for saturday late night!!!
