This Sunday (the 25th) there is a rally of sorts for Earth Day right on the National Mall in DC. Bob Weir is playing a solo acoustic set, and other acts are performing too throughout the day including Sting and Robert Randolph. And its Free! Should be a good time. Weir solo is gonna be sweeeet! ;D www.earthday.org/climaterally

Weir solo is gonna be ZZZzZzzZzz lol acoustic no less, scray stuff. I love me some Bobby, dont get me wrong.. seen him in many forms, he just seems sooooo sleepy to me now-a-days. Literally almost put me to sleep at vibes last year. Forgot the first lines to the first song at Mt Jam two years ago. Butchered Sugar Mag last year at Roth. Should still be fun though, kool to get to seem him solo

Well damn man, I didnt know it had all of this goodness - Sting, John Legend, The Roots, Jimmy Cliff, Passion Pit, Willie Colón, Joss Stone, Robert Randolph, Patrick Stump, Mavis Staples, Booker T, Honor Society and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger.
All that talent and all you tell us bout is Bobby solo!! Randolph is awesome!!

I will def be checking out as much of the music as I can. But Weir is the primary reason I am driving almost 3 hours to DC to catch this. Which I sort of feel guilty, here I am going to an Earth Day rally on climate change and I am driving quite a distance putting emissions into the air Robert randolph is fun too, I wonder what the chances of him being added to Nateva are? And Passion Pit, what are they like? Never heard of them but always up for new music...

Passion Pit is pretty sick. Dexxy tell me we can expect a Passion Pit late night set at Nateva. It sure does look like it will fit into that tour schedule.. anybody not familiar go to their website passionpitmusic.com and click music. Start with reelings remixes and enjoy something new and refreshing! Tuesday where are you?
