I've always been a fan of these young'ns, and have been fortunate to catch them twice. First time was at Sullivan Hall opening for Strange Design (Phish cover band). Definitely enjoyed their set more than I did SD's. Second time was last year at Gathering of the Vibes. That was a real fun set. Here are some decent vids (I looked for original stuff, but they bust out some pretty sweet covers as well)...

When I first saw them, I thought the guitar player was actually the kid who played McLovin haha. They've got some serious talent, I'm really looking forward to their set.

I'm so excited to see them. They are one of my favorite bands and I've never seen them live before.

The original video that started it all for the McLovins.....a cover of Phish - You Enjoy Myself.

They're playing in the mid-afternoon on Saturday. A post on Facebook said that Roots of Creation will play at 1:15pm on Saturday with McLovins following them.

Caught them at Mountain Jam for a while. Really amazing and talented for their age. In a few years, with some more seasoning and stage presence, they could be quite the force to be reckoned with. They were pretty awesome and drew a solid sized crowd. They played that Deep Monster Trance song from the video above and rocked it. And I didn't see it, but apparently they played the Doors - Break on Through as well. pretty interesting.
They are playing during John Brown's Body who I also kinda wanted to catch but I may go to the McLovin's set and then wander around. I'd highly suggest catching these guys so you can say "I saw them back when they were brand new"....they are talented kids.

I was there too, freakin awesome show. Started at the Mclovins for 45 minutes, went to Matisyahu and got bored after half a song and went back for the rest of the mclovins. They had some sound issues but that seemed to be an issue stemming from their sound guy who didnt seem to have anything under control. As Sean said, with a few years under their belt they will be awesome. They were likely younger than 95% of their crowd and still blew everyone away. Check these guys out at Nateva.

I do not like the Mclovins. Just because you make descent music at fourteen dosent make you a virtuoso. There covers are descent but i think there original stuff sucks
