Here's how my schedule is looking right now:
Thursday: Gypsy Tailwind > Lettuce > Lotus
Friday: Greensky Bluegrass > camp > Umphreys McGee > Keller Williams > Jakob Dylan > Jackie Greene > camp > Ghostland Observatory > moe.
Saturday: Drive-By Truckers > She & Him > Grizzly Bear > STS9 > The Flaming Lips
Sunday: Max Creek > Zappa Plays Zappa > camp > Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band > Furthur
That Friday lineup is a killer. I actually would like to see every band on that stage from Greensky on, but a whole day at the stages usually isn't in the cards for me so I might have to sacrifice Felice Brothers and Passion Pit. Gotta have energy for the latenights.

Velvet......I highly suggest instead of camp you stick around and check out The Felice Brothers. They are amazing and will put on an awesome show. I really can't wait for their set. Hopefully they get at least an hour.
The main stage schedules are solid. Really looking forward to this festival.

I do really want to check out Felice Brothers and I know I probably will when the time comes. These planned schedules never work out anyway. Some of this could be thrown off by the campground stage also.

I know.....there are a lot of bands i want to check out who aren't on that list....so i'm sure there will be a few minor conflicts for me as well once the campgrounds stage schedule is out

Passion Pit and Ghostland observertory = solid boozing at camp time to get ready for Moe. No interest at all in Passion Pit, but those Ghostland Observatory guys look like fun. I'll be there for that.

^^
Pretty sure EOTO and Big Gigantic will be late nights.....so don't need to worry about them conflicting with the main stages. Not sure who else will get late nights or where these bands will be.

Guys I saw passion pit today, if you havent seen them then your a fool to skip out on them because of some pre-conceived idea of how they will be. They fudgeing kicked ass today and I am a major jam band fan. Dont skip out on these guys just cuz you think their genre of music isnt good, these guys kick ass.

Passion Pit put on a really good show at Bonnaroo. I'm hoping for another good show at Nateva. Won't miss them.

I've really been digging the Passion Pit music. That is one show I won't be missing. There are so many bands I want to check out. It's looking like I will be spending a lot of time at the main stage.

Passion Pit is great stuff...I missed them at Bonnaroo last year, but I ended up catching them a few weeks later in NYC. They killed it.

I was being close minded before I had the chance to see Passion Pit. I thought because they didnt sound at all like a jam band and the singer sang in Falsetto that they wouldnt be that great live or be something I would like.Due to that I never even gave their studio stuff an honest chance, after seeing them a few times this spring I can honestly say that signing them onto Nateva is a GREAT choice. Passion Pit is infectious, you cant help but dance to their stuff. Their music is a perfect fusion of rock, electronic, and funk and the lead signer brings some serious energy to the stage and gets everyone hyped up. Passion Pit < Ghostland < moe. is going to be epic, dont skip Passion Pit just because you think they are some sorta indie band that you have no interest in.. I made that mistake already, dont follow in my footsteps

Passion Pit grew on me. First time through their album I didn't think anything special of them. Liked their videos (but any band can make a great video....what matters is the music). Anyway, slowly they grew on me and I started getting into the album a bit more and really enjoyed their show at Bonnaroo last year. Lots of energy and the songs translated well. They should be a good show at Nateva.

The more I learn and see about Passion Pit and Ghostland, the more it is clear that moe. is going to have to bring some serious heat to keep the energy up coming off of those openers. I'm admittedly not the biggest moe. fan, so it should be interesting to see what they bust out.

My issue isn't with Passion Pit's sound, it's with the fact that I'm probably gonna be at the main stage the whole damn day without any sort of break. That Friday is too good from start to finish. Passion Pit was probably my one break but now I may end up staying around for their set.
How do you walk away from this? Greensky Bluegrass > Felice Brothers > Umphreys McGee > Keller Williams > Jakob Dylan > Jackie Greene > Passion Pit > Ghostland Observatory > moe.
There are no breaks in that. And then I have to take into consideration the late nights.

Yea that Friday lineup is STACKED. The only one I would think about leaving is Jakob Dylan but even if I left....i'm sure there'd be a good act on the campgrounds stage then.
But seriously....Felice, Umphrey's, Keller, and Moe. are like the whole reason I wanted to go to the festival.....so having them all in a row is just awesome. Passion Pit and Ghostland will be a welcome treat as well.

Yes, terpklein, you're right this whole lineup is stacked. Looking at the days I wonder when I'm gonna be able to go back to camp and recharge. And that doesn't count the side stages too. Its gonna be a LONG weekend that is so far away!

Agreed! I keep looking at the lineup for all days thinking, when am I going to be able to get back to camp? Is it July 1st yet? ?? I've looked over the schedule a few thousand time already. Thursday - I know I'll see all three bands on Thursday because it's the first day of music, I'll be ready for music, and it is only three bands. Friday - I really can't begin to imagine which band(s) I can miss from Friday's lineup. Stacked from Greensky on. Saturday - Saturday starts late for me. Crash Kings are the first band I will probably see that day. But who knows, Rustic or John Brown could draw me in. But I will definitely be there for DBT on. Sunday - Sunday is a good day too. I imagine I'll do Max Creek on with a probably break at P-Funk. I'm just not much of a fan of them and I've seen them before.

So I think they just added another band - The Problemaddicts im pretty sure they were not on the lineup yesterday when I was browsing the Nateva site. Looks like we got a little hip hop after all!!

Wow, so many bands. Sometimes the no-name bands steal the show. Could happen. Keep an open mind. ;D
