This is the first year since '05 that i'll be missing Bonnaroo. It's not because of thel ineup or anything...I'm a fan of a lot of bands going this year. I just can't swing it this summer. It's all Mountain Jam and Nateva for me.

This'll be my first year not going since Molly and I started doing fests. The lineup looks pretty good, but with a wedding in October, we had to cut ourselves down to just one this year, and 'roo heat was a deciding factor to going with something else.
Just make sure to be prepared for the heat... it's no joke. The suns pretty brutal and hard to get out of. And take taxi money in case you get stuck in BFE, it's worth it and your feet will thank you.

crix - i would just get married at roo. Not sure I could think of a better place than a music festival, but I don't want to be sweating my ass off on my wedding day. ;D Somebody did get married in the Sherwood forest at Rothbury last year or '08 though... Molly saw those photos and quickly got some ideas, but I'm sure the family wouldn't have been too pleased.

Imagine getting separated from her at a fest and yelling out "Molly!" trying to find her. LOL

<-- Molly here Imagine being NAMED Molly when you're walking around at a festival... confusing!! lol Anyway, I'm really bummed we aren't going to Bonnaroo this year... especially with Dave, Avett Bros and several others there this year... breaks my heart. I would buy tickets in a second if I had the PTO to cover myself at work.

I went to the 'roo in 08. I haven't had that much fun since Woodstock '99. I will be going to 'roo again this year. Its a long ride from Maine, but well worth it. Really looking forward to Martin Sexton and Zack Brown band. Some DMB is cool too. I may even make it a double header and check out Wakarusa in AR. the weekend before. Your welcome to stop by the camper for a beer MOJO. You too boo.

If you're bringin' a camper to Roo, I'd be much more interested in stopping by for a shower and a clean bathroom! We'll definitely have some Infoteva meetups goin' on, though!

So it's pretty likely I'm gonna have a huge conflict at Roo. DMB is all but confirmed as the Sunday headliner. The Cleveland Cavs (I'm from Cleveland) have a very good shot at making the NBA finals. So, on Sunday, it's gonna be Game 5 of the NBA finals directly against DMB. Shoot me now...

Late night artists announced!
* Jay-Z * The Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon featuring Stardeath and White Dwarfs * LCD Soundsystem * Thievery Corporation * Galactic * The Black Keys * Deadmau5 * Daryl Hall & Chromeo * Clutch * Bassnectar * Kid Cudi * GWAR * The Disco Biscuits * Dan Deacon Ensemble * B.O.B.
I'm shocked that UM doesn't get a late-night set. I had them pegged with a 1-4 a.m. slot. Oh well. My late night priorities are the Flips (especially with DSOTM), Clutch, Galactic, GWAR, and Bassnectar (due to Jah's love for them). Some good options though.

The late night for Bonnaroo is so sick. I've been the past two years, but I just can't afford to make the trip from Maine again this summer. I'm definitely bummed. There are some seriously great acts.
