Where are people who aren't camping staying? I am highly considering the Holiday Inn Express South Portland.

Its a shame the Hotels are so far away.. You should look into VIP if you ok with spending an extra few bucks. Nateva is making a point of taking special care of not only their regular attendees but especially their VIPS. Showers and VIP toilets included. Personally I have had better experiances with Marriots than Holiday Inns, but I cant speak for either in Portland. Either way you go, obviously both of those have the shuttles to and from the festy. Your best bet and safest option for all is to take the shuttles, but if those lodging options dont work for you I looked up a few hotels/motels/inns that are close to Oxford and posted below Hotels In or Around Oxford - Inn Town Motel - Norway Maine 7 miles from Oxford inntownmotelmaine.com/index.htmlHillside Cottages - Norway Maine 7 miles from Oxford www.hillsidecottages.com/The Cape Cottages - Otisfield Maine - 8 miles from Oxford cape-cottages.com/The Wolf Cove Inn - Poland Maine - 8 miles form Oxford wolfcoveinn.com/Poland Spring Resort - Poland Maine - 11 miles from Oxford www.polandspringinns.com/

Thank you, I'm probably going to stay at one of the places closer instead.

Lewiston-Auburn is about 30 minutes away...there is a Hilton Garden Inn, a Marriott and a Ramada. The Ramada and Marriott are on the edge of town in a rather plain area. The Ramada has a bar and restaurant...the Marriott is across from all the usual chains including Starbucks. The Hilton is in downtown Auburn, the sole advantage being a nice brewpub 30 seconds away....they have an indoor pool and hot tub as does the Marriott. Happy to pass along more info about my home town...and also mention I am renting my house so I can camp ! hot tub but no pool or brewpub.....

When or is Nateva going to announce Hotel packages? Have you bothered to look at the Nateva website yet? Possibly take a peek under Accomodations, and then look under Hotels & Motels. lolz If that isnt enough of an announcement and you would like more info you could either email info@natevafestival.com OR try posting in the Official Q&A thread

I'm not gonna tell ya what to do, but I have done festivals before in the past where I didn't stay on the grounds and I always felt like I was missing out on things. I don't know why, maybe it's because I love watching the place come alive in the morning or I love the random fun late at night as people go wandering by, but it just kills me to walk out the gate and go away from the fest. I would never stay off grounds if I have any say in the matter.

I own the Sudbury Inn in Bethel Maine which is about a half hour drive from the Fair Grounds. Bethel is a beautiful mountain village with cool shops, restaurants and Pubs and lots to do. In addition to bedrooms (all with private bath) we have a Pub with live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday's. Check us out on Facebook (The Sudbury Inn or Suds Pub) or our website Sudburyinn.com, and I'll see you at the festival! We will also be offering a special rate for Nateva festival folk.

I would definitely look to the Bethel area....You would be on the low traffic side of the fest as well as only being like 25 to 35 minutes away and price will be right.....Sunday River just posted some discounts as well as suds witch are both great properties...
