There's a thread specifically about mini-kegs and the word is that they are not allowed: Cute or not..... kegs, mini kegs and beerballs are a no-no. Sorry, they aren't allowed.

If your coming up through Portland, stop by RSVP on forest ave. They have an impressive selection of canned beer including harpoon, butternuts (home town pride), red stripe and a couple others that escape my mind. That is in addition to all the normal brands. They also have booze, wine and cigarettes. One stop festival shopping!

One thing I just remembered about RSVP: you have to have a Maine state ID unless you're over 25. Kind of a bummer of a rule, but there are plenty of hobos around Forest Ave if you're in a pinch

Sorry, they aren't allowed. oops! reason i ask is because i dont consider them a mini-keg - its only 5 liters of beer, not multiple gallons like a keg.

Thanks for the info everyone. We have a place called Global Beverage Warehouse right near me. I'll stop in there and ask the owner to order me a couple of cases of Blue Moon in a can. I'm sure he would. The motto of the place is if it can be shipped to Maine and you want it, we'll get it for you.

For anyone coming from Central NH, there's a place called Barb's Beer Emporium in Concord. They sell Blue Moon and Harpoon IPA in cans (in addition to other stuff).

harpoon IPA and saranac pale ale, probably some twisted teas as well (those, like heineken, are actually better in a can than in a bottle)
