I'm wondering who everybody thinks is going to have the best set @ Nateva. I'm voting for Furthur.

Well this is very much up to personal taste. While I think Furthur will be awesome I am torn between the STS9 Sunset set, Umphrey's, Flips and Lotus.. Entertainment factor will prolly be the Flips because Wayne is just crazy. Musically (for me) I think Lotus will be the best. In terms of dancing my ass off STS9 will be the one andddd to RAWK out Umphrey's takes the cake. I am torn... gonna go with Umphrey's though because they killed it at Up North and I am sure they will throw down !!

I'm going with UM cause they always put on an amazing show. I'm not a big Dead fan, so Further doesn't hold that much appeal for me. UM and Keller are my highlights, with FLips close behind.

I'm a bit biased because I know and love the Felice Brothers and they bring it at festivals....so I want to say they will be the best set. But it's likely they'll only have an hour (give or take some time) since they are one of the smaller acts here and that won't lead to an amazing set. Still....they will be great.
I went with moe. . I'm a huge grateful dead fan.....but only know like half the material, so the Furthur set will depend on the songs they play. I need to study up some more on songs like Slipknot, Loose Lucy, The Wheel , Hell in a Bucket, etc.
Flaming Lips should be quite a spectacle as well.moe. just kinda does it for me though. It's going to come down to moe. or Umphrey's I think.

Umphreys. In my opinion their the top player in the jamband scene next to Phish.
I expect great sets from Furthur and Keller though.

I voted for moe. I can assure you, they will most certainly be bringing the heat. Plus Rob is local and I don't think they've played in Maine in quite some time (don't quote me on that). I'm hoping for a Buster that just brings the house down.

My vote is for moe as well. I think they're going to kill with a headlining spot.

My vote is for moe as well. I think they're going to kill with a headlining spot. They had a headlining spot at Vibes last year and were in the process of killing it until an electrical storm broke out, ending the show prematurely. I...was...PISSED!! Plus, if any of you were at their late-night Bonnaroo set last year, you know what they're capable of.

I went with furthur. I did not like them at first. then i herd the chi town shows from this tour and if they play like that at nateva, peoples faces are gonna melt (big smile here) first time i saw moe. was at SPAC at furthur fest. bob weir came out and did a complete thats it for the other one. SMOKIN!!! www.archive.org/details/moe1997-07-06.mtx.flac16 Short set, but really sweet. then next time was at brookhave amphitheater with claypool. that show was stopped because of an electrical storm. then, my 3rd chance at the vibes, was again cut short by yet another electrical storm. I'm guessing every time i'm gonna try and go see them, it's gonna get cut short because of an electrical storm. if i come to nateva, i'll come incognito so that wont happen

Don't worry, I won't be making that mistake again.

moe. for me I dig Furthur a whole lot, but after seeing the Grateful Dead so many times, it isn't the same moe. on the other hand, does it for me close to everytime I see them but the combo of moe. and Furthur headliners just makes me giddy

Hopefully we get some big adds to make this poll more interesting. (as in like a bigger fight) Right now I'm gonna have to go with STS9, the last few shows I've seen this past year were beyond phenominal. After that, Furthur and I'm really excited to see Felice Bros. for the first time.

STS9 threw it down this tour

Furthur, no doubt. Furthur alone is a huuuge reason why I am coming to Nateva. The rest is just icing on the cake Though 2nd and 3rd place goes to Umphreys and Moe.
