My idea here for us to come up with unusual songs that any band at Nateva would play. It needs to be a song that fits the style of the band.
My two ideas are:
Ghostland Observatory covers Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd
moe. - Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks
I think this could be fun

I would love to see Umphreys cover "Eminence Front"!!! Thats not so unusual, seen them do that song before. Pretty freakin tight though. I want an Africa or Jessica from them, as for unusual I think Umphreys could pull off some pretty sick Tool covers.. not sure who would sing tho |

I think it would be cool if a festival picked an artist and had each band on the bill cover asong by that artist.
Imagine if every band did a Who song in their way.

Derek and susan doing Acid Queen ( that would be AWSOME)
Further with Join together
Flaming lips with their tommy medly
EOTO doing SPARKS
Passion pit doing pictures of lilly
Drive by truckers doing I'm Free
Umphree's with Eminence front (see above, I know)
Jackie Greene, Babba O' Riely
Keller doing The Seeker
I could go on and on but you get my drift.

Really hoping that the Lips pull out Madonna's "Borderline." I dunno why, but I think they cover that song (which is already pretty superb, melodically speaking) phenomenally
