They were on the lineup originally, but are now AWOL... I know the singer had to bail on Mountain Jam due to an illness, but they're still on for Bonnaroo... What happened??

I assure you, they were never on the initial lineup. I would know because I'm such a huge fan and really wanted them to play Nateva. I requested them a lot but knew they had July 2nd and 2rd listed on their tour dates playing the High Sierra Music festival....but was hoping we would get them for a Sunday show.
Its a bummer because I was dying to catch them at Mountain Jam....they were one of my favorite acts and they unfortunately had to cancel. Oh well. I'll be trying to catch them in NY again soon, they are always a great live act.
Sorry dude....you must be mixing it up with another festival. Hopefully they'll be on the lineup next year.

I too was stoked on seeing their set at MJ. Bad timing, but I guess it's better than the scare Simone Felice is facing, as he cancelled MJ too. Alas, it must have been a dream that Dr. Dog were going to be at Nateva.

Alas, it must have been a dream that Dr. Dog were going to be at Nateva. Seems like it. And totally true about the Simone Felice scare. Thankfully he was successful in surgery and is just going to be resting now. They were another huge "must-see" act at MJ for me since both them (Duke & King/Simone and Dr. Dog) are such favorites of mine. Oh well, the festival was still a blast. This one will be too. I got my first dose of Drive-By Truckers and McLovins at Mountain Jam so that makes me even more excited to catch them again at Nateva.
