I'm really excited for this set. I haven't heard a ton of Zappa, considering he has an assload of material, but I do own Hot Rats, Apostophe ('), and Over-Nite Sensation, all three of which are awesome albums. Plus I've always heard that the band is really tight and Dweezil can channel Frank exceptionally well. Should be a good one.

Same here. I know a handful of albums but the catalog of music is just so immense. I'm excited to see this act. Saw them at Bonnaroo last year (or was it two years ago??) and they were awesome.

ZPZ is freakin amazing. Yer going to LOVE it. I caught em twice, at vibes 08 and at brookhave amphitheater last summer opening for dream theater.

ZPZ is the biggest reason I'm going, but that's because I'm a huge Zappa freak. Was sooooo excited to see them at Waka in 2008, but a nasty thunder storm caused them to cancel. Got to see Dweezil rock out for free in Buffalo last year and it was probably my favorite show that summer. It's a shame none of the FZ alumni will be with them, but that new vocalist they got does a great job. Can't wait!

I will be getting down with ZPZ for sure. I've never had the chance to see them, and I've been a Zappa fan for years. I hope they get into some of the jazz fusion Hot Rats, Waka/Jawaka type stuff. I would also love some stuff off Apostrophe. I can't claim to have a vast knowlege of Frank's catalogue, though. It's just overwhelmingly large.

Haven't seen this lineup yet, but all previous incarnations of ZPZ have been amazing.
Sheila Gonzales is absolutely amazing to watch on a variety of instruments.
Please play Dinah-Moe-Hum, Inca Roads, and Penguins in Bondage.

I just introduced my daughter to the music of Frank Zappa the other day. The little I played for her she liked. I can't wait to hear ZPZ and I think Rave is excited now too.

i'm very excited for the ZPZ set....i saw a few project object and grandmothers shows a bunch of years ago, then i saw ZPZ at the theater at the garden, great show w/ guests. im hoping for a great setlist w/ a few personal favorites if i can get lucky. my father is one of the biggest zappa freaks in the world, i've been brainwashed by hours apon hours of zappa since birth and i'm glad i have

I am not really a big Zappa fan, but if Zappa is your man, then you will love ZPZ!
Probably will be resting my bones for Derek Trucks>Furthur during their set...

Saw countless Frank shows many moons back... caught ZPZ at the Vibes a couple years back and was really impressed with the ZPZ musicians and the way they played Franks music, ending up going out to the Roxy in cali, rothbury, Jamcruise, Fla and a few other shows to see them. Now its Nateva... You can bet they are going to have the tightest set all weekend. I cannot wait!

decent set, dweezil at first didnt seem to into it, then one song got a great ovation and he said "who knew"? into the mic. i wish they had more time. it also sucked that that sweet SG was on stage and even mentioned by the guy who introduced them but dweezil didnt touch it once? haha. dweezil was aslo standing on the side of the stage diggin derek and susan's set. i give it all an 8 out of 10
