Bonnaroo is too big for its britches, IMO. That's probably true. Not looking forward to the heat and 80K people. But I've never done Roo before, and I probably should go eventually. I like a lot of the lineup, and it'll be a hell of a party! |

i don't think the heat is that bad. i mean don't get me wrong it's hot as hell but i've noticed the more i stay busy the less i realize. plus they have plenty of tents to go cool off in. like i said the smokers lounge is like a ice cooler!

Jones Beach X 2 nights (money is tight this year, so just had to pick one venue/run) Just hoping they don't give me nosebleed seats like last lotto!

^^^ Yeah guys, good luck, and save the money. Word on the street is Phish Festi east coast sometime right after the Jones Beach shows. I'm hopin' to hit up HartfordX2 and Greatwoods.
As far as the Roo comments above, it's fun and all, but I found it very stressful between the drive, the Virginia State Police, the walk to and from camp, and the DUST. It's not the heat it's the DUST. The second time I went, I had to get 2 nebulizers and a shot of steroids from the medical tent. Have fun though, the line-up is huge.

im going for hartford 2, spac 1, mansfield... probably / possibly phish fest depending on where it is.
the roo dust was BAD in 2007. last year was amazing weather - you could sleep in way past 8. it was cloudy, and nearly, dare i say it, cool.
this year, im a bit scared of the weather. they are due for a rainy fest.

Thursday Camden - Sect. 102 Row W
Friday Camden - lawn
Saturday Merriweather - Left Center Row Z
Sunday - Right Center Row MM
Now just gotta grab my Hershey tomorrow and I'll be set.

YAAAAAAYYY for 80 degree's in NY today! Feels like July 1st if you ask me! 89 more days... Yep, the weather in NYC is fantastic today. I wasn't planning on going out tonight, but daddy might just have to don his drinking hat and get after it hard this evening. Also, congrats to you folks who pulled in Phish tix today. I got mine via lottery and I left it to my buddy to grab the tix for Jones Beach 1 today on TicketBastard. Mission successful. Summer ter should be a grand old time. |
