If I show up with someone who has a 3 day pass without camping, are they gonna have to get out of the car or walk into the fest, when we arrive?
I'm driving my car, just doing someone a favor because there ride isn't leaving till late friday, (also I wanna save $35) and they wanna get there early, she is staying with them on off site camping, just didn't know if this was gonna be a problem or not? I don't wanna get turned away just because I have a off site person with me...

To save the $35 fee for arriving alone, you need to arrive with another person in your car with an appropriate ticket, in this case, that would mean a person with an onsite camping ticket. In the scenario you just described, your friend would have to get out of the car and you would be charged a $35 fee for arriving alone. You both could camp at the Speedway for free and take the shuttle. In fact, your friend would be able to take the shuttle to the speedway after we kick him out of your car. Sorry, but he doesn't have the right ticket.

All about the money, not hardly. We don't want your money. Not the least bit interested in it. That's why we offered you your money back when we instituted the rule last month. We were clear about the rule and sent all ticket buyers an email to explain it to them and offer them their money back. You didn't reply. That said, we still don't want your money. Either bring somebody that's got the right ticket to camp onsite and split the site with them - FREE or go to the Speedway and we'll camp you and bus you at our expense. Again, FREE to you. It wasn't about the money then, and it's not about the money now. It's about reading the rules and being responsible for your decisions and your actions. I'll buy your ticket back right now. The credit will hit your credit card on Monday with the refund. The world is a two way street pal, burn your faithful promoters and see if they want you at the show. Send me a PM if you want your money back.

This isn't fair. These "rules" were NOT present at the time of purchase. What you did is ILLEGAL, and a bunch of bullsh1t. You didn't plan anything out properly, so you start adding a bunch of "rules" to save your asses. This is morally wrong. Not sure of the legality of the situation but to say they didn't plan anything out properly is a bit of an exaggeration. They have admitted to making some mistakes here and there and have come up with ways to deal with them. They didn't "start adding a bunch of rules". They added one carpooling rule. If you read their response you'd see that they are still offering a refund to this girl if she wants it. The "official" refund time was a week but I've seen many refunds being offered by Nateva (and some by Frank Chandler himself) for different reasons. They really don't seem to have a problem with refunding a ticket. I think you're being a bit overzealous about this. I wouldn't call the people running Nateva jackasses. What I would call them are a group of like-minded individuals trying to put on a festival for the first time. Of course there will be bumps in the road when you're creating a new festival from scratch. Anyway, the main reason I responded was because I wanted to point out one of the rules for the Nateva Q& A board: This is not a forum for suggestions or complaining. There are other forums for that. If you don't like an answer, discuss it in another board, not on this board. This is simply done so that people will be able to get answers quickly without siphoning through a ton of discussion and also because bumping threads that have been answered pushes down some other threads that may be awaiting a response. www.infoteva.com/index.cgi?board=natevaqa&action=display&thread=433If you'd like to complain.....go ahead ;D. I'd just like to politely ask that it not be in the Official Q & A board. Thanks!
