Last night I was digging around in my closet and came across a couple of tapestries. I thought " OOooo these always come to the festie with us" I walked out to the den, threw them on the love seat and proceed to find what i originally was looking for. Now this morning, I look at the love seat and THE PILE has started! Now, not just tapestries line my love seat, but so does baby wipes, the kite, a cool pair of shoes, my backpack, his backpack, a box of oatmeal and other random items... Anyone else's pile start?? Do you pack like me?? I know in 10 days all these random things will be organized and packed to make a kick a$$ camp...  peace Hobbits  |

I'll be starting mine this weekend. I've been looking for things that haven't found their home since our move. All of our tent fans and lights and such are missing. At least we have the tent. My piles are all over the place right now. All the camp chairs and sleeping bags are in the trunk of the car, tables stove, fuel, and hoops are outside by the shed, I still have to find my coffee pot and cooking stuff...

Testing out my camping gear in Troy NH this weekend, for a good old fashioned farm party. My pile will begin shortly thereafter. Can't wait to find what crazy stuff I will accumulate.
Still waiting for my bulk order of glowsticks, and of course, you can't forget the kaleidesope laser pen.
So pumped.

I'm only gonna have a very small pile. I'm flying out, so I have to get everything onto a plane. Sounds like fun, right?

This is my first fest so the pile has been growing for weeks already... tent, chairs, glowsticks, tapestries, food, blankets... the list goes on.

The pile is currently on my shelving in my basement. I think that over the weeekend we will be making it a bit bigger. Tomorrow I'm going to Target to get more stuff for the pile. By the end of next weekend it should be fargin' huge

Good idea! I always pack last min and forget stuff. I gotta go hit up old navy for some cheap tank tops too. But I just placed my flashlight on the floor so the pile starts now... Now I need some batteries for the flashlight

As a teacher I am off for the Summer, so I won't start my pile until probably the day before I leave. I will pull out my festival checklist though and go buy the things I know I'll need.

Pretty much what Velvet has said. Although this is my first fest, I'm sort of wing-dinging it and I'm going to try to bring just *the essentials* so I can focus on the music & the general scene. ...You know: the car, (something else  ), tape recorder for special music, Acapulco shirts....? |

Oh yes. The pile is growing indeed! I'm still working on the dinner list, and figuring out what I'll need to buy, but it's almost time to pack the car and get on the road!!!!

No pile yet, but I can't think of anything else today but Nateva. Looking forward to setting up the new tent this weekend and waterproofing it. Blowing up the airmattess to check for leaks. Once that's done, the pile will begin to grow!!

My wife keeps adding stuff to the pile and not telling me. Earlier today I was looking for sandwich bags that I bought for general usage on thursday. I asked the wife if she'd seen them. She said "Did you check the pile?" When I got to the pile I found all kinds of stuff I've been looking for for the last few weeks. I thought I was going insane.

it's 5 days away, and the pile is growing! don't want to take too much, but don't want to forget anything that can make life easier, and more relaxing. I guess I'd rather have it & not need it then to need it & not have it!

I'm trying my best to keep the pile small. It's really hard though. With an almost 13 year old girl, I keep thinking of things we'll need to bring for her. Things that normally wouldn't make it onto the pile are now there. Eek! Sometimes I wonder how it's all going to fit in the car!!!
