About how much space would you estimate will be given to people who are camping on-site? Extra car worth or more? I ask because i have a big canopy (16x16) and don't want to be encroaching on anyone's space, thats all  |

There's no real size that we can guess at this point. I'm just assuming it will be like other car camping festivals where you park next to people and set up behind your car. I'm sure it won't be much of a problem if you just talk to you neighbors as you pull into your spot. They may even like it.

No problem. One thing I could suggest is that when you're being directed to your final space, park just a little bit wider then where they are directing you. I can't promise that will work but i've done it at Bonnaroo and some others and that's usually fine. Don't leave like a full car's worth of space....but you don't need to be crammed right next to the neighbors either.

And as soon as you park, open your doors. That will keep the next person from parking too close.

Car door idea is great! Most likely will try that when i arrive. I know they open at 4pm, people think there will be a huge line? Gonna try to get there madddd early

I have a 12x12 screen tent that we were worried about being too big at Vibes last year (car camping), but there was PLENTY of room.

you should be able to find room for a 16x16 canopy. just try to make sure any sort of rain runoff isn't going to soak your neighbors. if you have neighbors that don't have a canopy they will be your best friend if it rains.
if you're parked near trees expect some of your neighbors will probably just camp near the shade rather than their cars, but i don't think you'll have to rely on that.
