hey guys what do you think? i'm going to be volunteering and my first shift is on thursday at 1:45, so we'll be getting in really early, probably before most of you since the site says gates open at 4. assuming i get a choice in where i get to camp, which would you pick? the way i see it is that the VIP camping is probably the ideal spot, so the moose field camping is right next to that. that's pretty close to the main stages. im thinking thats the one.

Most likely you won't get a choice of where you get to camp. They will probably just direct you to a location like a majority of the other music festivals. That said, I think Moose Field camping would be a pretty sweet camping area....though I wouldn't mind Bear Field (close to late nights) or Norway Field either.

Certainly isn't the Boxberry Field...at a small elementary school surrounded by homes and offices. Saw them putting up the fence this morning.
Really hope the school, playground and gardens don't get trashed. Hope folks stay inside the fence and away from the school. Too bad the field that the kids play on during recess will likely be covered in cigarette butts and all the other minutia left over form the campers. Wicked bummer...and the school gets nothing at all from this...

Boxbury Field is where Family and Quiet Camping is supposed to be. So if it's located at a school - weird - I would hope that since it's supposed to be "quieter"and family oriented, it won't get trashed quite so bad.

If it's located at a school (with playground / jungle gym type thing) then it makes sense that the family camping would be there. So they can play! Hopefully people are respectful....and if you see someone trashing the place don't just walk by....say something.

If you see them working give them a pat on the back or a cold drink. We fed a couple of them lobster one year, I've never seen anyone more grateful ;D
