so im paying $20 less than the original ticket, isnt having to camp 3 miles down the road punishment enough, why would they even think of trying to make one night private? i mean seriously what is the deal with this shennnigans? i assume a ton of people are going to show up and there going to have no other option but to let us see music right?

Sure, you're special and the rules don't apply to you.
Just do what you want and screw the people that are working their asses off to put this on for everyone.

thebert-- let's relax. You will be able to see sooooo many other cool bands all weekend long. Sorry you didn't get onsite tickets in time, but let's all be chill about this so everyone can have really good vibes this weekend. Hope this doesn't get you too down. You will have an awesome time starting Friday

Technically wouldn't you be paying $40 less than the original ticket? Since $20 has to be paid for the thursday night pre-party?
It's been stated for a while that only on-site weekend pass holders will get the thursday show. It's one of the perks. It's an incentive to buy the higher priced on-site pass.
It's similar to how some festivals sell tickets for their late night shows. This isn't the first festival to do something like this.

oh i know im just saying how kinda stinks that two of the bands i was most excited to see are now off limits simply because it took this broke college student a while to come up with the 250! for a ticket...
I VOTE SECRET LOTUS SHOW IN THE WOODS LIKE AT ROTHBURY LAST YEAR!!!!

As long as you have on-site weekend passes you can enter at anytime after 4 p.m.. The rest of the people (day passes, off-site camping) can begin to enter on Friday at 4.

I may be wrong ITM, but I think Frank said "the rest" of the people could start getting in Friday AM, like around 8 or 9ish. Not trying to start ca ca, but 4 PM seems a little late.

Possibly but I'm not 100%. Not sure. Guess we'll have to wait and see

Yea that was my mistake. I was referring to 4 p.m. because of what they said in a Q & A thread.....but that answer was in reference to Thursday. My mistake. Sorry for the confusion.
