Cool stuff. That works out really well for me because I wanted to go to Roo and this gives me more time to wait.
From CoS:
Following an inaugural launch which included the likes of Furthur, The Flaming Lips, moe., and Passion Pit, the Nateva Music & Camping Festival will return for a second rendition in 2011, Consequence of Sound has learned. Nateva 2011 will take place in Oxford Maine between August 5th and 7th, with an early-bird kickoff to be held on the 5th. Lineup and ticket information are still forthcoming, but we’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, let’s play a game of questions and answers: who would you like to see play Nateva 2011?

Only slight error in that article is that the 5th is not an early bird day, that is friday. The 4th, a thursday, would be the early bird.

I'm super pumped already. Hopefully they get the Thursday night entrance situation smoothed out.

Ya I hope they get the entry situation on Thursday figured out too...that was the only bad thing about the whole fest in my eyes!

I dare say with some experience loading people into the venue, things should go much smoother this year. It must be a daunting task to have to get thousands of people into a venue that you have never operated at before, especially when the layout is a fairground.

I think it's good that it is the same time as Lollapalooza. Should keep those who just come for the party away...

Do you guys know if they're capping it at 15 000 people this year too?

Do you guys know if they're capping it at 15 000 people this year too? I would say yes. The permit from the town, as I understand it, only allows 15k on-site at any time. Assuming they can open the hill for camping this year, it is likely there will be a few more on-site camping passes available (just speculation).

Let's hope they book the McLovins again. Missed 'em last year, and regretted it ever since.

I really hope they open the hill for camping this year. Those sites would be primo.
