Volunteers needed

Feel Good Foods is once again starting the volunteer process for the 2011 festival season. We are looking for volunteers for the following festivals, Bonnaroo, Del Fest, High Sierra, All Good, Music on the Mountaintop, Nateva, Mountain Jam, and possibly others. Most positions are during the festival but some events also have before festival and post show shifts. A deposit equal to the value of the ticket for that show is required to ensure that you actually show up and perform your duties. Generally speaking, the volunteer hours translate to around 1 hour of work for every $10 of the gate ticket price. For instance if the show costs $180 at the gate, you would be expected to work 18 hours in exchange for your ticket. After completion of your volunteer hours your deposit will be returned to you in full. Usually this happens at the festival, but some events where we are just doing catering and have no cash on hand a check will be mailed or your credit card will be refunded within 10 days of the event. Besides getting admission to the show, we will also feed you, provide you with beverages, and in many instances you get a to camp in a separate more secure camping area. Many shows also have the opportunity to earn money working above and beyond your volunteer hour requirements.
