Also, after that second round, there were still only a few bands announced. Others like Umphrey's, STS9, Ghostland, Greensky Bluegrass, EOTO, Toubab Krewe, and all of the indie wasn't announced. We've got a lot of music yet to come, I bet.

Hmmmmm... people might notice from that link that the second wave was announced on February 19th, a date long since passed. Do we still believe there will be a second wave, or are we just assuming so because there was last year? Makes me a bit nervous...

I know that the Nateva folks have said basically that they were releasing what was confirmed as of that day and that they would be releasing more names as they were confirmed. I'm pretty surprised that they haven't released anything since the initial lineup, and I don't really have an idea of what the hold up is, whether they're looking for another big name or they just want to release everything at once. But it's definitely reasonable to expect a second list of artists, just no idea how big those names will be. |
